Outstanding Fundraiser

Do you know a business, organisation, or individual who has made a difference through charity fundraising? We are not purely looking for the charity that has made the most money but made a difference in the community. It could be a charity in Medway or an individual who has taken their time to raise money to support a charity, your nomination counts.

Community Impact

Is there someone in the community who has made a significant impact and deserves recognition?

We want to celebrate those who truly enrich the Medway community. This category is for anyone who has made a difference by organising events, supporting those in need, or helping to keep Medway at its best.

Nominate an exceptional individual today.

Courage and Bravery Star

Courage reveals itself in so many ways – from stepping in to help someone in need to showing others how to face up to challenges that life throws our way. There’s never a right or wrong way – it’s the way you choose and somehow make it through and out the other side.
The Pride in Medway Courage and Bravery Star is for those Medway heroes who show these qualities in everyday life without a second thought, who dig deep in a time of crisis, and who show strength, quick thinking, or bravery in the moments that matter.
If this sounds like you or someone you know, we want to hear your stories at the Pride in Medway Awards 2025.

Kindness in Action

This category celebrates individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to fostering kindness, compassion, and empathy in their communities.

From choirs performing for the elderly and charity collections to kindness schemes, litter clear-ups, volunteering, and recycling, we want to hear why these activities make such a big difference to where you live.

The School Community Award is open to all primary and secondary schools across Medway. If you know of a project or activity in your area that deserves recognition, nominate them for a Pride in Medway Award today.

Inspiring Youth (under 18)

New for 2025 - and replacing our Young Heroes Award - this new category is aimed at sharing amazing and inspiring stories from Medway’s next generation.

We still want to hear about young people making a difference in their communities but also those who, for whatever reason, have shown resilience or simply kept on smiling despite challenges in their way.

The Inspiring Youth Award is a way to celebrate those young people who set the best example for others to follow.

Sarah Clarke Award for Commitment to Recreation, Sport, Health and Wellbeing

The Sarah Clarke Award was launched in memory of someone who was as passionate about the difference sport and recreation can make to people’s lives as her role sharing the news at the Medway Messenger-

For 2025, we’re adding a new element.

We want to hear about those who have gone the extra mile to help others, contributing to greater self-belief and confidence to get fit, exercise, and socialise through the power of sport. We want to hear of the real difference your nominees have made.
